Summary on Grant Application Form |
To study the influence of pulsed excimer laser radiation on thin-film semiconductor and insulator growth and modification; to fabricate thereby films of amorphous and polycrystalline silicon, plus related insulating layers and other materials; to determine the electronic properties of these films, optimise the fabrication procedures, and identify the scope for utilisation of laser excitation in various aspects of thin-film technology.
