Summary on Grant Application Form |
Application of recent advances in shear-wave interferometry to studies of the non-equilibrium rheology of concentrated suspensions in controlled steady and unsteady shear fields. To implement a new non-invasive rheometrical technique to provide complete real-time determination of mechanical relaxation spectra of sheared suspensions in the frequency range 10-8 Hz to 104 Hz from measurements of sub-second duration.
