Summary on Grant Application Form |
The development of new polymer film redox/photoresponsive sensors designed to selectively detect anions by second-sphere coordination, involving (i) synthesis and coordination chemistry investigations of new ligands; (ii) anion binding detection by spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques; (iii) electropolymerisation studies onto optically transparent conducting glass electrodes towards exploitation of (ii). (i) to (iii) to be developed in parallel.
