Summary on Grant Application Form |
By consideration of the centrifugal, radial and magnetic forces acting on a particle in a magnetic hydrocyclone, it is proposed to design, construct and evalute a novel high intensity rare earth magnetic hydrocyclone.Utilising the latest technology in neodymium-boron-iron (rare earth) magnets the hydrocyclone will efficiently separate fine paramagnetic particles from non-magnetics.
