Summary on Grant Application Form |
Novel reagents and methods generally applicable for homochiral synthesis will be developed. The research will involve a study of asymmetric syntheses involving Michael additions of lithium amides derived from a-methylbenzylamine, chiral recognition processes, kinetic resolution strategies including enantioselective polymerisations. Artificial coenzymes will be developed based on transition metal complexes.
