Summary on Grant Application Form
We propose to extend the capability of the Cirrus Tier 2 High Performance Computing Service through the upgrade of the system's storage by adding new high-throughput and high-performance file systems, and by upgrading the operating system and cluster management software. In addition to these upgrades, we will develop training material that is specifically targeting new user communities, who might previously not have used large-scale digital research infrastructure.
