The proposed research aims to generate groundbreaking and useful technologies for proteomics that can be applied to urgent questions in biological and medical research. The work is interdisciplinary nature providing a unique opportunity for the DTC students to experience an integrated view of science that is likely to become the hallmark of successful research in the future. This cannot be underestimated as we need to nurture and train this new generation of scientists today. The results of the projects will have great impact on all areas of life sciences as they will enable to analyse proteins with unprecedented speed, sensitivity and functionality.
