Summary on Grant Application Form
In this project we will build upon previous success in developing a novel highly conducting electrochemical gas sensor. Previous work proved the concept of using a conducting oxide in this application where traditionally resistive materials have been used. From the proof of concept phase we gained valuable insight into these new materials and now will build on this to develop a commercial prototype, engaging commercial partners to exploit this breakthrough technology. The focus of this work will be in the optimization of the materials set to maximize the performance achieved.
