Summary on Grant Application Form
The UK e-Science programme will hire a 39x40 foot stand at the Supercomputing 2005 Conference in Seattle in November 2005. The stand will be laid out with a lecture theatre area for a series of talks and with 12 places for demonstrations and posters by UK participants, each with a display monitor. Prime responsibility for the stand lies with CCLRC and for the content and programme with NeSC. The shipping and assembly of the stand together with printing posters, handouts, etc is subcontracted to a UK firm, Smart Partners who have been storing the stand since last year. The stand also has an Access Grid node to enable contact with the UK and participation in SC05 Access Gid events. The proposal includes the costs of continuing the same work at SC06 the following year.
