Summary on Grant Application Form
One of the key goals of modern nuclear physics is to understand the properties of nuclei far from stability, that are important in the stellar processes that created all chemical elements heavier than iron. This has led to a large investment in experimental facilities, and has led to an renewed interest in realistic models of such nuclei. This workshop shall discuss two related but different approaches, in the hope that we can learn from these, and build better models.
