Summary on Grant Application Form |
This proposal bids for 30k sponsorship towards the 200k cost of the ManuFuture 2005 Conference. The intent of this sponsorship is to influence the strategy and implementation of industrially significant manufacturing research in the EU Seventh Framework Programme; to increase its relevance to the UK; and to better position the UK industrial and academic communities to secure research funding from Europe that responds to national needs. The conference provides a unique opportunity to promote the UK capability and capacity in manufacturing research to an invited European audience including key European academics. A report summarising modifications to the Strategic Research Agenda determined by the conference and product sector demands will be published on the Manufuture website.
