|
The seventh international conference on position sensitive detectors will be held in Liverpool in September 2005. The topics of the conference will be detectors, instrumentation and techniques for particle physics, space and astrophysics, nuclear physics, medical physics and life sciences, condensed matter physics, synchrotrons and industrial applications. It is important that research students can attend this conference to present the results of their work which will then become known to an international audience. The students will also see over 100 other presentations from which they will learn a lot. This proposal asks for funds to allow 12 students who are working of research that is part of the EPSRC programme to attend the conference.
