Accurate modelling of segregated or mixed flow with interface break-up relies on methods for handling a two fluid component interface that deforms continuously and may become multi-valued. The Volume of Fluid (VoF) method represents the individual fluids using volume fractions and locates the interface by reconstruction. A new VoF method will be devised based on technology developed for Cartesian cut cell methods with moving bodies. The advection solver will use incompressible versions of modern high resolution, time accurate Godunov type methods which provide good resolution of the contact surface. The method can be extended to include multi-physics models allowing mixtures of eg compressible air and incompressible water. Finally dynamic refinement/de-refinement of grid cells will be implemented to provide high resolution of the flow field around the moving interfaces.EngProg\
